 In
order to present Argentine art from its origins to the present day, we
have to make a periodization which enables us to offer, if not a complete
knowledge, at least the most relevant landmarks. On
this occasion, we decided to focus on painting and leave the discussion
of sculpture for a next opportunity. |
| This
summary will be divided into four large spans: |
| From
one period to the other, there were sudden leaps which were closely related
to major political, economic and cultural changes occurring in the country.
