critic and historian.
Director
and founder of the technical magazine Buenos Aires Ballet.
He
is presently responsible for the choreographic reports in Música
hoy and Correo Musical Argentino.
Since
1985 he is in charge of the historical articles in the dance performances
programme of Colón Theater.
He
represented in Argentina the Anuario del Ballet en Latinoamérica
(Peru).
He
was Secretary for the Argentine Cultural Institute of Hispanic
Music Manuel de Falla.
As
a critic he wrote in: Tribuna Musical; Mundo de la danza;
Toda la danza and La danza. He writes special articles
for Lyra (dealing with sacred art, German and Swiss culture,
and contemporary Russian art in Argentina); Ars (dealing
with Richard Strauss) and Artynf.
As
a writer, he is the author of the monographs: Olga Ferri
and Neglia; the joint study: Cuatro siglos de Ballet
(Four Centuries of Ballet); the translation of A. Levinson¹s
Isadora Duncan and feature articles for Vida y Gloria
del Teatro Colón with photographs by Aldo Sessa.
He
gave lectures with dancers from Colón Theater all over the
country. He also gave lectures in the Golden Hall of the Colón
Theater, Auditorium de Belgrano, Golden Hall of the Cervantes National
Theater and Auditorium in Mar del Plata, among other arts centers.
